West Craven is well known by college football recruiters. This fall they will find their way to Vanceboro again. Eagle quarterback Brett Mooring received his first offer from East Carolina Pirate Head Coach Skip Holtz and it should be the first of dozens for the signal caller with a big time arm and uncanny athletic ability. |
Michael Dyer, EA Sports 2007 National Sophomore of the Year, Arkansas All State, 5A West Newcomer of the Year, All Conference, Super Sophomore Team. The honors could go on and on for this speedy back in Little Rock, AR. Dyer has already been tabbed by many services as the state's top player in the 2010 class, and one of the top backs in the country for his age. Dyer's 2,710 yards rushing and 34 total TD's in '07 have already earned him offers from Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Tulsa. |

Tulsa offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn stopped in at Springdale Har-Ber High School this week. He made a big splash by offering Wildcat safety Houston Pruitt a scholarship to roam the secondary for the Golden Hurricane. Pruitt is a member of the 2007 Arkansas Super Sophomore team and the first prospect in Arkansas' Class of 2010 to receive an offer. |
